Team Overview

This team sits within Data Science and Analytics and reports to the Senior Manager of Data Science and Analytics. The team partners closely with clients and internal stakeholders to design and implement data-driven marketing analytics solutions, with a focus on Multi-Touch Attribution.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional client teams to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines supporting marketing analytics and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) solutions.
  • Configure, transform, and troubleshoot data integrations between TransUnion platforms, client environments, and various third-party data sources.
  • Represent TransUnion’s capabilities and guide clients through deployment design, ensuring solutions align to business objectives and measurable outcomes.
  • Deliver scalable, high-quality data solutions that enable fact-based decision-making and ongoing value realization for clients.
  • Support large-scale client engagements and contribute to multi-million-dollar projects across diverse industries.
  • Collaborate on product-driven initiatives to drive adoption, innovation, and continuous improvement across TransUnion Marketing Solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable data workflows.
  • Maintain and monitor data pipelines, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and performance optimization.

Required Knowledge and Experiences

  • 1–3 years of professional or client-facing experience, ideally within the Marketing Technology (MarTech) or Advertising Technology (AdTech) ecosystem, leveraging data to inform marketing decisions.
  • Foundational understanding of analytics and statistical concepts, applied to real-world marketing or business problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field, providing the baseline for data-driven problem solving.
  • Familiarity with data integration (ETL) methodologies and database structures, enabling effective support of end-to-end data workflows.

Required Technical Skills

  • SQL (Structured Query Language): ability to manipulate, join, and filter datasets efficiently.
  • Microsoft Excel: working proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and methodologies: foundational understanding to support data pipeline development.
  • Data visualization tools: familiarity with platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar.
  • Database concepts: user-level understanding of database design and data structures.

  • Familiarity with the AdTech/MarTech ecosystem, including advertisers, publishers, data providers, and tracking partners.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Exposure to task or issue management tools (e.g., Jira or similar).
  • Experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments with evolving requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

Pay Scale Information:

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $67,500.00 - $112,500 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
