Role Purpose:
This person will be responsible to coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Production, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Logistics, Engineering, etc.) to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders through effective planning and execution.
This person will report to the Planning Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Review product requirements and sales orders in ERP
Study drawings, specifications, and project documents
Create and maintain BOMs, routings, and item masters in ERP
Release drawings and work orders to production
Plan and monitor production schedules (MS Project / similar tools)
Calculate material requirements considering current inventory
Track project progress and identify critical tasks
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery timelines
Resolve drawing/specification queries with engineering teams
Conduct kick-off meetings and periodic production review meetings
Support production in hours booking, routing closure, and progress updates
Monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, and track variances
Track import consignments and coordinate with logistics
Maintain dashboards and report KPIs (OTD, cost, inventory, etc.)
Ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and company policies.
Experience & Qualifications:
3–5 years as Production Planner in manufacturing
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / production engineering
Ability to read engineering drawings
Knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding processes
ERP systems & MS Office proficiency
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
Basic knowledge of ISO standards (9001/14001/45001)
Data analysis & reporting (Excel / Power BI preferred)
Strong communication & coordination skills
Problem-solving mindset

Team player with multitasking ability
High discipline, punctuality, and safety mindset
Key KPIs:
On-Time Delivery (OTD) > 90%
Inventory / Net Working Capital control
Cost optimization (COGS reduction)
