Three Ten is a merchandising company based out of Los Angeles, California. We work with some of the world’s largest Artists & Brands with projects that include music, sports, entertainment IP, experiential, retail stores and pop-up shops. We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Product Developer to lead development across multiple product categories including Apparel, Accessories, and Home goods within the entertainment, music, and pop culture world. You will be the bridge between the creative vision and production reality. You will ensure every product is built to spec, costing appropriately, sourced strategically, and delivered on time.
What you'll do:
- Own end to end technical development for product lines from sourcing, techpacks, sample approvals, through final production.
- Collaborate closely with design, production, client services to translate concepts into buildable retail and tour ready products.
- Identify category-specific innovations, material technologies, and emerging trends to support the Creative team.
- Drive sourcing strategy by identifying vetting new vendors and factory partners. Looking for new innovative materials, techniques, and product capabilities with our vendors.
- Develop and maintain detailed techpacks including technical, production art and quality standards across multiple categories including apparel, accessories, and homegoods.
- Lead product costing efforts by working with vendors and production to negotiate all product costing without compromising quality or creative integrity.
- Own all sample comments and review and approve all samples to ensure they align with techpacks and hit quality standards; collect and consolidate feedback from 3rd party stakeholders, synthesizing all comments to the vendor.
- Manage development and production calendars across multiple product drops. Proactively identifying timeline risks and driving crossfunctional alignment to keep launches on track.
- Manage vendor relationships in collaboration with production across domestic and overseas factories, driving sample approvals and resolving technical issues quickly to meet tight drops and launch windows.
- Mentor junior developers and elevate the technical capabilities of the broader product team.
- Ensure product safety and quality standards are maintained.
Who you are:
- Minimum of 8+ years of technical product development experience in apparel and/or accessories within licensed or pop culture focused product.
- Profiecent in building techpacks including BOMs, technical specifications, production artwork.
- Experience management product costing, cost negotiations, and margin analysis including product cost engineering.
- Proven track record of building and managing vendor/factory relationships across global sourcing markets.
- Strong ability to own and manage complex development calendars across multiple product lines including retail and tour.
- Experience with a wide range of technical design across multiple product types.
- Understanding of licensor approval process and the ability to navigate brand guidelines.
- Strong understanding of global compliance standards including product testing, social audits, and QC practices.
- Strong communicatory with the ability to align the teams crossfunctionally.
- Needs to work well both independently and with a team with excellent follow through and self-initiative.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Proficient in Office and Google Suites.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
