Senior Integrations Engineer

Jobgether · Brazil

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Integrations Engineer based in Brazil.

This role sits at the core of modern enterprise data ecosystems, focusing on designing and delivering scalable integration pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments. You will work on complex data flows that power analytics, AI, and business decision-making at scale, using cutting-edge ETL and ELT technologies. The environment is highly technical, collaborative, and globally distributed, requiring strong coordination across engineering, architecture, and platform teams. You will contribute to the evolution of a Databricks Lakehouse architecture while ensuring robust ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes. This is a hands-on engineering role where performance, reliability, and automation are key drivers. You will also leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve engineering efficiency. The position offers exposure to large-scale, enterprise-grade cloud integration challenges.

Accountabilities

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-grade data integration pipelines across multiple cloud platforms, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will develop ingestion, transformation, and distribution workflows using Informatica IDMC, supporting both batch and real-time use cases. You will also contribute to modernizing legacy integration systems, including PowerCenter migrations, and optimizing ELT processes into Databricks Lakehouse environments. In addition, you will manage runtime operations, monitor data flows, and ensure SLA compliance across production systems.

  • Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC (CDI, CMI, CAI)
  • Build and optimize data ingestion into Databricks Lakehouse and Delta Lake architectures
  • Support migration of PowerCenter workflows to modern IDMC-based solutions
  • Operate and monitor integration infrastructure (Secure Agents, runtime environments)
  • Apply AI-assisted development tools (CLAIRE GPT/Copilot) to improve delivery speed and quality
  • Collaborate with cloud and data engineering teams across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
  • Ensure pipeline reliability, performance tuning, and SLA adherence in production systems
  • Requirements

You bring strong experience in data integration engineering with deep expertise in Informatica IDMC and enterprise data architecture. You are highly proficient in SQL and have hands-on experience building scalable pipelines across cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. You understand modern data lakehouse concepts, including Databricks and Delta Lake, and have experience working in CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code environments. You are comfortable working in distributed teams and can translate complex technical requirements into robust engineering solutions.

    • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC (CDI, CMI, CAI)
    • Solid background in ETL/ELT development and enterprise data pipelines
    • Experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and lakehouse architectures
    • Advanced SQL skills (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Databricks SQL)
    • Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure data services (e.g., S3, Glue, ADF)
    • Experience with CI/CD and IaC tools (Terraform, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
    • Knowledge of PowerCenter migration and modernization approaches (plus)
    • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (CLAIRE GPT/Copilot or similar)
    • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
    • Benefits

      • Competitive USD-based compensation (depending on experience)
      • 100% remote work within Latin America
      • Long-term project with extension potential
      • Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud and data engineering ecosystems
      • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI-assisted integration technologies
      • International, collaborative, and highly technical environment
      • Professional growth in advanced data engineering and cloud integration domains
