This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable integration workflows that connect key enterprise platforms and ensure seamless data flow across business systems. You will be responsible for designing and developing Workato “recipes” that integrate applications such as ServiceNow, NetSuite, and HubSpot, enabling efficient and reliable automation across the organization. Working under the guidance of technical leadership, you will translate functional requirements into robust integration logic aligned with best practices and architectural standards. The position involves hands-on development, API-based integrations, and data transformation tasks to support critical business operations. You will also play a key role in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing integration workflows to ensure stability and performance. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role suited for someone passionate about integration platforms and automation.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and configure Workato recipes to implement end-to-end integration workflows across enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain integrations between platforms such as ServiceNow, NetSuite, and HubSpot using REST APIs and Workato connectors.
- Implement data mappings, transformation logic, validation rules, and lookup configurations based on approved technical designs.
- Configure error handling, retry mechanisms, monitoring, and logging to ensure reliable and resilient integrations.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing and production phases in collaboration with technical teams.
- Document integration workflows, technical configurations, and implementation details in alignment with development standards.
- Ensure adherence to best practices defined by technical leadership, including coding standards and integration architecture guidelines.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in integration development or related technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with Workato, including recipe development, automation workflows, and connector configuration.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and modern data integration patterns.
- Experience integrating enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, NetSuite, and HubSpot is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of data transformation, mapping techniques, and validation processes.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, and API authentication methods (OAuth, token-based authentication, etc.).
- Experience working with error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting in integration environments.
- Exposure to iPaaS tools such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, or TIBCO is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and collaborative development practices.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
