This is a hands-on, entry-level development role focused on maintaining, updating, and optimizing client websites within a fast-paced digital marketing environment. You will work closely with SEO, content, and design teams to ensure websites are technically sound, well-structured, and fully optimized for performance and search visibility. The role involves continuous website improvements, content updates, and technical troubleshooting across a diverse portfolio of client sites, primarily in the automotive industry. You will gain exposure to real-world development challenges, including SEO-driven web optimization, CMS management, and front-end implementation. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior developer eager to strengthen their technical skills while contributing directly to live client projects. Accountabilities:
- Manage, update, and maintain client websites to ensure they remain accurate, functional, and optimized for performance and SEO.
- Implement content updates using HTML5 and CSS3, ensuring clean structure and adherence to brand and SEO guidelines.
- Update website elements such as navigation, internal links, metadata, and page structure to improve user experience and search visibility.
- Identify and resolve technical issues such as 404 errors, broken links, and 301 redirect problems.
- Support SEO and content teams with ongoing website improvements, structural updates, and technical implementations.
- Work within CMS platforms such as WordPress to execute updates efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with remote teams including developers, designers, and SEO specialists to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality outputs.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in web development or completion of a coding bootcamp with practical project experience.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design principles (Flexbox, Grid, etc.).
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and ability to perform simple code edits when required.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar tools is a plus.
- Good understanding of web fundamentals, including how websites are structured and maintained.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, accurate code.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with strong self-organization skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Bonus: basic understanding of SEO principles and their impact on web development.
