Designation: Principle Engineer – Java and Cloud
Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities :
Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-performance Java applications and RESTful APIs.
Provide support and assist architects on design end-to-end scalable solutions across backend services, databases, and API integrations.
Define technical standards, coding best practices, and development workflows.
Provide technical leadership to developers and participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and product owners to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of all applications and services.
Lead the migration or modernization of monolithic applications to microservices architecture where applicable.
Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Java, APIs, and cloud platforms.
Key Skills:
Minimum 12 years of Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.
Deep understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write performance optimized code, well-structured code by applying OOPS concepts and common design patterns
Experience with API Gateway, OAuth2, JWT, and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Proficiency in microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or GCP (Preferrable) is a strong plus.
Experience in application monitoring tools e.g. Splunk, Newrelic, Grafana
Knowledge of Python & Data science concepts is a value addition
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Apache Cloud SOLR (Optional)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
Adaptable to changing business and technology needs.
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Java Architect, AWS/GCP Certified Developer, etc.) are a plus
