Software Engineer - Python & PySpark, Chennai/Pune India.

We are looking for a skilled Python & PySpark Developer to design, develop, and optimize data processing solutions for large-scale applications. The role involves building robust data pipelines, implementing business logic, and ensuring high performance and scalability in a distributed environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark. 
  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance and reliability. 
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions. 
  • Implement data validation and transformation logic for structured and unstructured data. 
  • Integrate solutions with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Hive). 
  • Ensure code quality, reusability, and maintainability through best practices. 
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. 
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate pipelines into CI/CD workflows. 
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming. 
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark for distributed data processing. 
  • Knowledge of big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Hive). 
  • Experience with SQL and data modeling. 
  • Familiarity with data lake and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). 
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Knowledge on AI Essentials, Gen AI etc
