Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer deploys infrastructure and platform environments and creates proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals is also a key part of the daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure components and their integration with on-premises systems.
- Experience in designing and deploying scalable and secure cloud application architectures.
- Ability to develop and execute proof of concept architectures to validate design approaches.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to cloud platform deployments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
