Job Summary

This job is responsible for the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning for platforms. It will engage in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems, debugging and optimizing code and automating routine tasks. It will be part of a team consisting of a mix between software and technology infrastructure backgrounds. It will provide subject matter expertise, resolve complex break/fix scenarios and engage broader teams as necessary. It will partner with engineering, vendors and client services to deliver successful technical solutions. Works with limited supervision and direction while executing associated functions and responsibilities. Follows operational practices and independently determines/develops approaches for non-routine solutions. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities


  Roaming services IMS Core / SBC expertise, GSMA IR specifications, network configurations

  Experience executing E2E outbound and inbound roaming tests, including call, SMS, and data scenarios.

  Hands‑on experience with core network elements

  Senior Packet Core Engineering experience with Strong troubleshooting skills using signaling traces and logs (MAP, Diameter, SIP, GTP).

 VoLTE roaming testing experience, including SIP signaling, call flows, and LTE call handling.

  Strong knowledge in VoLTE, Core Network specifically voice and SMS troubleshooting, managing end‑to‑end roaming implementation
 IREG experience is added advantage
configuration and troubleshooting of HLR/HSS, STP, DRA, and EPC components.
roaming architecture, protocols (MAP, Diameter, GTP), and GSMA standards (IR.21, IR.85, IR.88)
configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet-good to have
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Bash) for network orchestration and monitoring. -Good to have
Familiarity with 5G architecture, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and IMS core components.-strong knowledge.-
Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or Nokia NRS II are highly desirable.
Manage end-to-end IREG testing and onboarding of new roaming partners, coordinating with MNOs and third-party vendors.
Own the daily automated testing framework for roaming services, ensuring proactive detection and resolution of service degradation.
Monitor and optimize roaming traffic flows, latency, and throughput across international interconnects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex network issues across multi-vendor environments.
