AWS and Devops Engineer

About the Team:

The team is responsible for overseeing and managing several essential projects, which include ICON Separation, daily business operations (BAU), and group automation lambda for the AD Entra tenant. They are actively engaged in developing a group automation system designed to improve the developer experience. Furthermore, the team provides support for cloud services across various applications and will assist with all AWS region expansions related to Cloud activities.

What you will be doing:

Design, develop, and maintain CI and CD pipelines.

Create automation playbooks for deployments, configuration management, provisioning, reporting, and other recurring tasks.

Ensure that deployment platforms are scalable and meet enterprise standards.

Manage and monitor the AWS Platform.

Analyze CloudWatch logs and troubleshoot any issues.

Deploy resources using Terraform.

Resolve issues with existing code and workflows by utilizing workflow run logs, debug logging, etc.

Review code from other programmers and create medium-level solutions using Functions, Structs, and Interfaces.

What you bring:

A comprehensive understanding of how to utilize tools for specific DevOps functions.

A general understanding of pipeline technology involving Jenkins-Kubernetes in relation to Openshift.

Familiarity with secDevOps technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Openshift.

A solid understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, KMS, S3, IAM, EC2, AWS Transfer Family, Lambda, CloudWatch, Service Catalog, and Code Commit.

A good grasp of SCPs, Control Tower, Stack Set, and Lambda Functions, along with intermediate knowledge of Python or Golang.

The ability to demonstrate a good understanding and working experience with libraries.

Added bonus if you have:

Certification for AWS Associate and Terraform.

Experience with GitHub Actions (Overall CI/CD knowledge is beneficial to have).

Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm (Basic to Intermediate experience).

Strong understanding and practical experience with Terraform.

A Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Capability to develop medium-sized solutions utilizing Procedures and Classes.

Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Python dictionaries, JSON, and YAML.
