Acts as a recognized subject matter expert, managing large projects or processes related to pre- and post-sales technical support. Contributes significantly to departmental goals and operational plans with the goal of assessing potential applications of company products to meet client needs. Improves processes or products significantly, dealing with numerous and undefined problems related to implementation. Communicates internally and externally, influencing others regarding policies and practices. Provides guidance, coaching, and training within the technological discipline. Manages large or complex projects, delegating work and reviewing products. Communicates within and outside the department, including clients, to gain cooperation of other parties regarding policies, practices and procedures. Manages large or complex projects that involve technically challenging requirements, involving delegation of work to others in the department. Executes product capability assessment and validation against client needs.

This role manages large-scale projects or processes that significantly contribute to organizational performance. Colleagues in this position are expected to tackle semi-complex and often challenging problems, requiring analysis and sound judgment. Communication with both internal stakeholders and external partners such as clients or vendors is expected. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this position will determine appropriate methods and procedures for new assignments and lead teams or initiatives. The position typically requires a strong foundation of knowledge, typically supported by a university degree or equivalent experience.
