Department Overview
Motorola Solutions connects people through technology. Public safety and commercial customers worldwide turn to Motorola Solutions innovations when they want highly connected teams to have the information they need throughout their workdays and in the moments that matter most to them. The department delivers a server platform solution for the ASTRO 25, the world's most widely used P25 mission-critical voice and data communication network.
Job Description
A successful candidate will be a part of the team that works on the preparation and maintenance of network configuration for large scale telecommunication system.
We are closely cooperating with networking equipment vendors (HPE, Juniper, Fortinet).
Basic Requirements
Basic Requirements
- Higher degree (Masters or equal) in IT, telecommunications, electronics, automation and robotics, physics or similar.
- Knowledge of networking areas: TCP/IP, routing (static OSPF, BGP), firewall (L3, L7), switching (STP), DNS, PKI
- Analytical approach to the tasks
- Problem-solving skill in troubleshooting networking issues
- Fluent communication in English (both verbal and written)
- Candidate should be self-driven, pay attention to details and be motivated
- Hybrid work mode (one to two times from the KRK office per week)
Below would be a plus:
- Knowledge of network performance testing aspects
- Knowledge of Linux based operating systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python)
