We are Northrop Grumman Australia (NGA). Our 800 strong team is leveraging unparalleled global resources to deliver sovereign Defence capability aligned to the Government’s priorities across Aeronautics, Mission Critical Systems, Space and Guided Weapons. As we build our business and our capabilities, we are also developing a reputation as a great place to work. Help us define what is possible for our nation and for your career.
The Role:
Due to an internal promotion, we are bringing in a new Systems Administrator to join the team and to take ownership of the mission systems that support the MQ‑4C Triton, a high‑altitude, long-endurance platform delivering real-time intelligence and surveillance for Australia.
Located at RAAF Base Tindal, you are responsible for keeping those systems up, stable and ready every time they’re needed. When the system is available, the mission goes ahead. When it isn’t, you are the one who gets it back online and keeps things moving.
There are already a solid foundation and team in place. You will take ownership of the day-to-day, stay ahead of issues, and step in when something breaks. You will work across operators, engineers and support teams to keep systems running and ensure the environment is always ready for use.
This is a hands-on systems role in an operational, high-security environment. Your work directly supports Defence capability, not internal IT.
This role is based at Tindal with a relocation and remote living and accommodation allowance available. Please note, this position requires a current TSPV (PV) clearance.
