SRE / DevOps Engineer Pleno

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a SRE / DevOps Engineer (Mid-level) based in Brazil.

This is a highly technical role focused on ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-native platforms in mission-critical environments. You will work at the intersection of development and operations, enabling engineering teams to deliver software at high velocity without compromising system stability. The position involves building and maintaining automated infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and strengthening observability practices across distributed systems. You will play a key role in defining reliability standards and ensuring production environments are resilient, measurable, and continuously improved. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and engineering-driven, with strong exposure to modern cloud and DevOps practices. This is an opportunity to work closely with product squads and directly impact platform stability and engineering efficiency.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for designing, operating, and improving reliable and scalable infrastructure and delivery systems.

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and safe software delivery.
  • Provision, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, and Azure environments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Manage and scale containerized environments using Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker.
  • Define and track reliability metrics such as SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, MTTR, and MTTD.
  • Implement and maintain observability stacks including monitoring, logging, alerting, and APM.
  • Work with tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK Stack.
  • Monitor system performance indicators including latency, traffic, errors, and saturation.
  • Collaborate closely with development squads to promote platform engineering best practices and operational excellence.
  • Requirements:

    We are looking for a hands-on SRE/DevOps professional with strong cloud and automation experience, capable of operating in complex and high-availability environments.

    • Solid experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, and/or Azure).
    • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably GKE) and Docker.
    • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
    • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
    • Strong knowledge of observability and monitoring tools and practices.
    • Understanding of SRE principles and metrics (SLI, SLO, SLA, MTTR, MTTD).
    • Experience working in Linux-based environments.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum and/or Kanban).
    • Soft skills:
