About the role
The Site Leader will be responsible for establishing, scaling, and leading the Hyderabad office as a strategic extension of the company's global operations. This role combines organizational leadership, talent acquisition, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the Hyderabad team effectively delivers against business objectives. The successful candidate will build a high-performing culture, develop local leadership capabilities, drive operational efficiency, and serve as the primary representative of the company in Hyderabad. They will partner closely with executive leadership and functional leaders across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, Operations, and Corporate Functions to align local execution with global priorities.

- Site Leadership & Strategy : Develop and execute the Hyderabad site strategy in alignment with company objectives and growth plans. Serve as the senior leader and ambassador, fostering a strong culture and employee experience. Ensure the site operates effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Team Growth & Talent Management: Lead workforce planning efforts to support current and future business needs. Partner with Talent Acquisition and functional leaders to recruit, onboard, and retain top talent. Build organizational structures that scale effectively as the business grows.
- Develop leadership pipelines and succession plans to support long-term organizational growth. Promote employee engagement, professional development, and career progression.
- Operational Excellence: Drive operational processes, governance, and performance management across teams.
- Establish measurable goals, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to monitor site performance. Identify and remove organizational bottlenecks that impact productivity and execution. Ensure efficient resource allocation and organizational effectiveness across departments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global leadership teams to align priorities, staffing, and execution plans. Facilitate collaboration between teams in different countries. Ensure effective communication and transparency across functions and geographies.
- Support the successful delivery of critical business initiatives and strategic programs.
- Culture & Employee Experience: Build and maintain a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture. Champion company values and foster a strong sense of engagement and belonging. Lead employee communications, site-wide initiatives, and culture-building activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for employee and organizational matters.
- Compliance & Site Operations: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements. Oversee site operations including facilities, workplace services, and vendor relationships as applicable.
- Partner with HR, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to support organizational needs and risk management.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience, including managing large, cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling organizations in India.
- Strong track record of recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams. Experience working in a global, fast-paced technology or growth-oriented environment.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational leadership skills. Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience supporting rapid organizational growth and transformation.
