MAINFRAME & HOGAN EXPERTISE (REQUIRED):
Deep experience in IBM z/OS mainframe environments, including batch and online transaction processing
Strong hands-on knowledge of COBOL development within Hogan core banking systems
Proven experience with key Hogan components, including:
Demand Deposit Accounting (DDA)
Customer Information System (CIS)
Customer Account Management System (CAMS)
Additional Hogan modules (e.g., IPS, MISER, RPS, ODS, PAS) or equivalent components
Understanding of Hogan architecture, data flows, file structures, and transaction processing patterns
Experience supporting high-volume, mission-critical financial systems with strict availability and resiliency requirements
Experience with Hogan online processing environments, including CICS-based transaction systems
Experience supporting systems processing high-volume financial transactions with near real-time or continuous availability expectations
Experience contributing to mainframe modernization initiatives, including reduction of batch processing windows and movement toward continuous or real-time processing models
MODERN MAINFRAME DEVELOPMENT & DEVOPS (REQUIRED):
Hands-on experience with modern development tools for mainframe, including:
IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz) or Visual Studio Code with Z extensions
Source control using GitLab or equivalent Git-based platforms
Demonstrated experience implementing or supporting CI/CD pipelines for mainframe applications
Familiarity with application security and code scanning tools (e.g., Black Duck)
Knowledge of Endevor or similar mainframe SCM tools, with experience transitioning toward modern pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD)
Ability to bridge traditional mainframe practices with modern DevOps methodologies
Experience with automated testing strategies for mainframe applications, including unit, integration, and regression testing

Mainframe job scheduling and batch processing frameworks
Experience working with:
CICS transaction processing environments
IMS for z/OS or equivalent mainframe databases
Familiarity with:
Mainframe performance monitoring and debugging tools
