This is a senior engineering leadership role focused on enabling fast, high-quality execution across multiple engineering teams within a high-growth, early-stage environment. You will act as a critical force multiplier for technical leadership, helping translate strategic priorities into structured execution across engineering pods. The role blends operational excellence, systems thinking, and hands-on leadership in a fast-moving startup context. You will be responsible for improving coordination, reducing organizational friction, and ensuring engineering teams are consistently delivering value. Working closely with senior technical leadership, you will help shape solution architecture and ensure technical decisions align with business goals. This is a highly cross-functional role requiring strong communication, prioritization, and leadership skills. Accountabilities:
- Support senior technical leadership by prioritizing, organizing, and streamlining engineering workflows to reduce operational overhead and improve execution focus.
- Oversee engineering pods, ensuring alignment, accountability, and effective collaboration across distributed teams.
- Triage and coordinate technical issues, ensuring they are properly categorized, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Contribute to solution architecture design and technical decision-making, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Represent engineering priorities in product and leadership discussions, ensuring technical debt and backlog considerations are clearly addressed.
- Improve engineering processes, workflows, and operational structures to increase delivery speed and team effectiveness.
- Provide leadership support across multiple teams, ensuring consistent execution standards and communication flow.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in engineering leadership roles within startup or high-growth environments, with a focus on execution and delivery.
- Deep understanding of logistics, transportation systems, or related operational technology domains.
- Proven experience working with transportation management systems (TMS) or similar complex enterprise platforms.
- Strong background in software architecture and system design, with the ability to guide scalable technical decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multiple engineering teams or pods in parallel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with comfort operating in fast-paced, high-change environments.
- Experience with agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
