Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Risk Management Manager to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement the Program Risk Management Strategy, Plan, and Procedures to support successful project delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks that may impact the achievement of program objectives related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance.
  • Facilitate risk identification workshops and collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to proactively manage program risks.
  • Analyze and prioritize risks based on likelihood, impact, and overall exposure to support informed decision-making.
  • Develop and recommend appropriate risk mitigation and response strategies to reduce project risk exposure.
  • Quantify risk impacts and support the development of cost and schedule contingencies, including Monte Carlo Simulations where required.
  • Establish and maintain Program Risk Registers and Risk Breakdown Structures (RBS).
  • Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of risk response actions and recommend corrective measures where necessary.
  • Track changes in risk exposure, identify emerging risks, and ensure mitigation plans remain current and effective.
  • Conduct Risk Maturity Assessments and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and coordinate key stakeholders to support effective risk management across the program.
  • Recommend, implement, and configure risk management tools and systems to support project controls and reporting requirements.
  • Establish risk management governance, reporting processes, recurring meetings, and communication protocols.
  • Prepare risk reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries for project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide risk management guidance, mentoring, and training to Program Team members.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering, project delivery, or related fields.
  • Strong experience developing and implementing risk management strategies, plans, and procedures on major construction or infrastructure programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, analyze, and mitigate project and program risks.
  • Strong experience facilitating risk workshops and engaging with multidisciplinary stakeholder groups.
  • Experience leading teams and managing risk management activities on large or complex projects.
  • Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methodologies, including Monte Carlo Simulation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop risk mitigation strategies and support executive decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

  • Experience on complex rail, metro, or transportation infrastructure programs.
  • Previous Middle East project experience.
  • Professional chartered status or equivalent professional certification.
  • Experience implementing enterprise-level risk management systems and reporting frameworks.
