Position summary

We are looking for a highly capable Sales Compensation Analyst to support the end-to-end administration of sales incentive compensation for our EMEA sales organization. This role is responsible for accurate and timely compensation cycle execution, strong data controls, clear stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement of compensation processes, tools, and reporting. The role suits a detail-oriented analyst who can work confidently with large data sets, sensitive employee information, and tight payment timelines while partnering closely with Sales, HR, Finance, and Sales Operations colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver core activities in the quarterly sales compensation cycle, including data validation, calculation support, payment processing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compensation data is complete, accurate, auditable, and handled in line with confidentiality and control requirements.
  • Validate accrual inputs and partner with Finance and the broader Sales Operations team to improve accrual accuracy and process discipline.
  • Investigate commission queries, resolve issues within agreed timelines, and identify root-cause fixes that reduce repeat exceptions.
  • Support the design, implementation, communication, and ongoing administration of sales incentive plans across EMEA.
  • Act as a key user for Xactly Incent and help drive system adoption, process standardization, and enhancement opportunities.
  • Prepare analysis and reporting that help stakeholders understand payment outcomes, exceptions, trends, and operational risks.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer content to strengthen team resilience and consistency.
  • Partner effectively with HR, Finance, Sales, and other operations teams on changes, projects, and business priorities related to incentive compensation.
  • Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives that improve cycle efficiency, control quality, and user experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 4 Years of Experience with relevant skillset
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work confidently with large and complex data sets.
  • Experience in sales compensation, incentives, finance operations, sales operations analytics, or another analytically rigorous operational environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to validate, manipulate, and analyze data accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A process improvement mindset with the discipline to work effectively in a controlled environment.
  • Comfort working with confidential employee and payment-related data.
  • Flexible to work in Shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Xactly Incent or another incentive compensation platform.
  • Knowledge of common sales incentive concepts, plan mechanics, and compensation governance practices.
  • Experience with Cognos or similar reporting / data warehouse tools such as Redshift, SQL language.
  • Exposure to training, process documentation, or knowledge-transfer activities within an operations team.

Success in the first 12 months:

  • Compensation cycles are delivered accurately and on time, with strong control discipline and minimal rework.
  • Stakeholder queries are resolved faster and recurring issues are reduced through better process fixes.
  • Accrual inputs and compensation reporting become more reliable and easier for partners to interpret.
  • Xactly usage, documentation quality, and operational consistency improve across the team.
