This role provides essential operational and documentation support to a specialized tax credit team focused on helping businesses unlock financial value through R&D incentive programs. You will play a key part in ensuring that client data, project records, and supporting documentation are accurately organized and maintained to support compliant and high-quality R&D tax credit studies. Working closely with a US-based technical team, you will assist in preparing structured workpapers, managing data entry tasks, and maintaining consistency across reporting templates. The position is highly detail-oriented and requires strong organizational discipline, as your work directly supports the accuracy and efficiency of financial analyses and client deliverables. You will also help track project progress, coordinate information requests, and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready. This is a structured, remote support role ideal for someone who thrives in process-driven environments and enjoys working collaboratively with international teams.
Accountabilities:
- Enter, organize, and maintain client-provided financial, payroll, contractor, and project data within structured templates and tracking systems
- Support the preparation and assembly of documentation, workpapers, and supporting materials required for R&D tax credit studies
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in data entry, file organization, and adherence to established naming conventions and documentation standards
- Assist in building structured workpapers using templates provided by the US-based technical team
- Track project-related tasks, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple concurrent studies
- Identify and flag missing, unclear, or inconsistent data for follow-up and resolution with the US-based team
- Coordinate routine information requests with clients as directed, helping ensure timely completion of required inputs
- Review work for accuracy prior to submission and incorporate feedback from senior team members
- Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation files for each assigned study
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data entry, administrative support, bookkeeping, accounting support, or similar structured operational roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with structured templates, spreadsheets, and documentation systems
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and consistency in data handling
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills for remote collaboration with US-based teams
- Ability to follow detailed processes, instructions, and standardized workflows reliably
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working remotely in a support capacity within a structured, team-driven environment
- Familiarity with US R&D tax credit concepts is a plus but not required, as training will be provided
