We are seeking an Engineering Specialist - Mechanical Component responsible for the Plant layout design, 3D model development, piping engineering, and implementation of operability and maintainability requirements for onshore and offshore applications, such as gas treatment, compression and re-injection stations, power plants, LNG plants, Process Modules, Green Power, Carbon Capture and others.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the layout and piping engineering design for skids, modularized solution, Oil & Gas, Climate Solution and Industrial Power plants, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, international standards, local regulations and EHS rules as well as coordination with all relevant disciplines involved in plant infrastructure.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients on all plant layout and piping topics, including operability and maintenance studies and evaluations.
Managing 3D model development, coordinating also with other disciplines beyond the Plant & Modules team, focusing on equipment layout and modular design for construction and transport.
Supervise and lead the issuing of Plant and Module layouts documentation including piping isometrics and Material Take Off, Line Specification, Valves BOM and Maintenance/Lifting Equipment sketches.
Attend design reviews and internal meetings with other functions to validate design.
Ensure on time and on budget completion of tasks and documentation assigned with high-quality standards.
Support Offer phase to meet business targets and assist Sales teams by contributing to identifying and proposing best solution fitting Customer and BH requirements.
Be involved and proactively give guidance in New Product Development Projects, in Design continuous improvement and Cost and Productivity optimization initiatives.
Support the Sourcing Department by preparing material requisitions, managing technical alignments and vendor follow-up during requisition phases as well as supplier inspections.
Support the Manufacturing and/or Site teams during Modules erection and Plants construction and Commissioning phases as needed.
Contributing and proactively gives guidance in design standardization, compliance, and multidisciplinary coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with strong experience in Engineering/Technology.
Good experience in Plant Layout & Piping Engineering within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Generation, or Energy sectors.
Proficiency in CAD 2D software (e.g., AutoCAD, Microstation).
Be able to demonstrate proficiency in 2D and 3D design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Microstations, Aveva, SmartPlant, Navisworks)
Demonstrate strong knowledge of International Codes and Standards for Industrial, Energy and Oil & Gas industry (ASME, API, NACE, ASTM, ISO, etc.).
Familiarity with technical specifications from major Oil & Gas operators (Shell DEP, ENI STDs, EXXON-MOBIL DPS, etc.).
Fluent in English.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and cross-functional / multidisciplinary coordination skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and multitasking capability.
Strong communication and collaboration with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Project planning capabilities.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 43,200 To 59,400.
The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
