The Collaboration Video Endpoints Business Unit (CVEBU) develops advanced video collaboration solutions for conference rooms, active collaboration rooms, and individual workspaces. Our team integrates AI-powered features to enhance user experience and productivity across global environments. The Supply Chain Product Operations team partners with engineering and design to ensure supply chain resiliency from product concept through end-of-life.

Your Impact

You will provide technical expertise to guide mechanical designs from initial concept through mass production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products are resilient by design and meet high standards for manufacturing and field quality. You will drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Quality (DFQ) activities to ensure consistent production performance. You will own technical documentation, including engineering changes, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly documentation. You will manage the tooling plan, budget, and final approval in partnership with the broader engineering team.

Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3+ years of professional experience in a supply chain, manufacturing, or product development environment.
•    Demonstrated experience working on new product designs involving electronic components.
•    Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solidworks) for interference checks and dimensional analysis.
•    Experience with engineering drawing standards, tolerance analysis, and BOM management.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Proven experience in injection molding, extrusion, die casting, or sheet metal enclosure design.
•    Demonstrated history of driving Design for Manufacture (DFM) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
•    Strong ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders using data-driven reasoning.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills for formal presentations.
•    Experience managing product technical documentation within a Product Data Management (PDM) system.
