Hardware Validation Manager for Networking and Signal Integrity
As a Hardware Validation Manager in Google's design and test team, you will lead a team that qualifies a wide variety of networking hardware used in Google's data centers, including network interface cards (NICs), switches, cables, and other networking hardware, ensuring they meet Google's stringent requirements for performance, security, reliability, and features.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $188000 - $275000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience working in a data center systems architecture, design, hardware bring-up and validation technical environment.
- 3 years of experience in technical leadership.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 12 years of experience in data center systems architecture, design, hardware bring-up, and validation environments.
- Experience in signal integrity concepts and high-precision test equipment for measurements and bit error rates.
- Experience managing test teams, overseeing lab work, data collection, root-cause analysis, and improving qualification processes.
- Understanding of testing and hardware validation requirements, best practices, and algorithms for data center hardware.
- Knowledge of networking equipment, including network interface cards (NICs), switches, and cabling, as well as interfaces such as PCIe and Ethernet.
