Roles & Responsibilities:

Market Access Reporting and Analytics -

  • Conduct analysis and interpretation of complex data sets to derive meaningful insights and recommendations that enhance our understanding of business performance and drive growth.
  • Perform statistical analyses, data mining and predictive modelling to uncover trends and drivers of performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (US based Market Access Business Insights & Analytics team and US Market Access team members) to identify business problems and create/conduct analytic plans to address those questions.
  • Delivers projects including payer, PBM and patient level subnational & claims data analysis, formulary and policy level analysis, and ad-hoc analytics based on secondary data to support US Market Access strategy.
  •  Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and enhance data infrastructure, data pipelines and analytical tools for efficient data collection, processing, and analysis.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends (US access and health care landscape), best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide overall project oversight and training/mentorship to junior analysts and team members as required.
  • Supports culture of fact-based decision making through application of best-in-class, innovative, and appropriate methodologies to address key business questions.

Analytics Delivery & AI Enablement

  • Independently deliver high-quality MAx reporting & analytical solutions and AI-enabled insights within agreed timelines, under the guidance of leadership.
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches, execute analyses, and synthesize findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to analytical best practices, quality standards, and documentation requirements.

Stakeholder Partnership & Strategic Support

  • Partner closely with US Commercial stakeholders, MAx Sales leadership, Brand team, CASA, and CBIT to understand business needs and contribute to solution design.
  • Act as a trusted analytical partner by clearly explaining insights, assumptions, and limitations, and supporting decision-making discussions.
  • Support prioritization of business requests by providing effort estimates, impact assessments, and analytical recommendations.
  • Contribute to stakeholder presentations, readouts, and working sessions with clear, structured storytelling.

Team Collaboration & Capability Building

  • Mentor junior analysts through informal coaching, work reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to team capability building by sharing best practices, reusable assets, and analytical frameworks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (Commercial, Analytics, IT, Operations) to ensure consistent and scalable delivery

Technical Execution & Data Stewardship

  • Build and maintain analytical assets including datasets, models, and automation workflows.
  • Work closely with BIT and data engineering teams to troubleshoot data issues and ensure reliable, timely data availability.
  • Ensure analytical outputs are reproducible, well-documented, and aligned with governance and compliance standards.

Skills and competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into clear business insights.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and applications of those to US commercial business problems.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear manner.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable insights and recommendations.

Experience & Qualifications 

  • BTech/BS required; advanced degree preferred with special consideration for degrees in life/physical sciences, applied sciences (computer science, mathematics, data science), or engineering. 
  • 3+ years in pharmaceutical Field Force Effectiveness, GTM analytics, execution vs. performance analysis, or territory alignment—preferably within biopharma or pharmaceuticals.
  • Experience in working with US healthcare datasets (e.g. IQVIA/SHS National, Subnational, Patient Claims, medical policy, and formulary data), data processing and visualization tools, and statistical software packages (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
  • Experience embedding AI analytics platforms into Field CRM workflows with enterprise-wide adoption. 
  • Good knowledge of programming and data science tools (Python, R), machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch), large-scale analytics environments, visualization platforms, and workflow automation. 
  • Proven track record of delivering data‑driven insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders. 

Technical Skills (Preferred) 

  • Hands-on experience with Python and/or R for data analysis, statistical modelling, and ML pipeline development. 
  • Experience with SQL and reporting tools (Power BI, or similar). 
  • Exposure to collaborative analytics environments (Databricks, Git, SharePoint, Domino, Snowflake). 
  • Understanding of LLM frameworks, prompt engineering, and RAG pipeline design for enterprise applications.
