The LPN performs administrative duties that include, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records. Clinical duties will include measuring and recording vital signs, collecting demographics and medical information including review of medication list, preparing patients for examination, cleaning rooms and equipment and stocking supplies. This position will involve the administration of medications as ordered by the physician. Performs specific competencies as directed by the department.
Education:
▪ Required: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

▪ Previous nursing experience preferred

Job Description:
The Urgent Care nurse provides professional nursing care during the initial phase of acute illness or trauma for patients of all ages. The UC nurse triages and determines priority of care based on physical, psychological, or social needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system.
