Minimum Qualifications for Mental Health Clinician I:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in social work or counseling from an accredited institution of higher education
Eligible to obtain provisional licensure in relevant discipline in the state of Arkansas within 60 days of the start date with the expectation of pursuing independent licensure in a timely manner
Minimum Qualifications for Mental Health Clinician II:
Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in social work or counseling from an accredited institution of higher education
State of Arkansas license for independent practice in social work or counseling (LCSW or LPC)
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree from an accredited institution of higher education in social work or counselor education
3+ years of experience in the evaluation and treatment of individuals whose age and psychological development are similar to traditional and non-traditional college students.
Experience working within brief models of care, as evidenced in application materials.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience and ability to work as part of a highly cohesive and interdisciplinary team
Ability to work with diverse populations
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work well in crisis situations
