This remote clinical role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered hearing care through a modern telehealth model. You will work directly with clients to assess hearing needs, interpret hearing test results, and support hearing aid selection, fitting, and troubleshooting. The role combines clinical expertise with digital care delivery, enabling patients to access personalized audiology services from the comfort of their home. You will play a key role in improving hearing health outcomes by guiding patients through technology-enabled solutions in a supportive and empathetic way. Collaboration with operations and customer experience teams ensures a seamless and high-quality patient journey. Accountabilities:

  • Conduct remote patient consultations to gather case history and assess hearing needs
  • Interpret hearing tests and determine hearing aid candidacy using clinical expertise
  • Dispense, fit, and troubleshoot hearing aids via telehealth platforms (phone and video)
  • Support patients in learning and using hearing aid devices and telehealth tools effectively
  • Provide empathetic, patient-centered care while building strong rapport with clients
  • Collaborate with internal operations and customer experience teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Apply clinical knowledge to resolve technical and patient-related hearing aid issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of care processes
  • Requirements:

    • Active Audiologist or Hearing Aid Dispenser license in good standing (Canada or equivalent jurisdiction)
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience fitting and dispensing hearing aids for adult patients
    • Experience with hearing aid programming and remote fitting tools is highly desirable
    • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic interpretation skills in audiology
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to patients
    • High level of empathy, patience, and commitment to patient-centered care
    • Ability to work independently in a fully remote clinical environment
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities in a technology-enabled care setting
    • Flexibility to work weekday hours and participate in occasional weekend coverage rotations
