Role Summary

We're looking for a strategic, systems-minded Senior Recruiter who can help build the future of recruiting at Novo.

This is more than a recruiting role, we're looking for someone who combines strong hiring expertise with a passion for AI, automation, and process design. You'll own hiring outcomes while building scalable recruiting systems that improve speed, quality, and efficiency as we grow.

What You'll Do

Recruiting Execution

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across technical, business, and leadership roles.

  • Drive hiring goals while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

  • Develop sourcing and outreach strategies that improve pipeline quality and conversion.

AI, Automation & Systems

  • Design and implement AI-powered recruiting workflows across sourcing, screening, scheduling, and reporting.

  • Evaluate and deploy recruiting tools, automations, and AI agents that increase team productivity.

  • Build scalable processes that reduce manual work and improve hiring velocity.

  • Continuously identify and solve operational bottlenecks.

Process & Stakeholder Management

  • Build structured interview processes, scorecards, and hiring frameworks.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers on intake sessions, calibration, and decision-making.

Use recruiting data and market insights to influence hiring strategy and workforce planning.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of in-house recruiting experience in startups or high-growth companies.

  • Proven success hiring across technical and business functions.

  • Experience building recruiting systems, workflows, and operational processes.

  • Strong understanding of AI-powered recruiting tools and workflow automation.

  • Deep sourcing expertise and strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Data-driven, highly organized, and comfortable operating in ambiguity.

  • Builder mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Hiring goals are met without sacrificing quality or candidate experience.

  • Recruiting workflows become increasingly automated and scalable.

  • Funnel conversion, time-to-fill, and hiring efficiency improve quarter over quarter.
