This role sits at the center of high-impact healthcare talent acquisition, supporting the staffing of critical clinical roles across complex care environments. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and hiring qualified nurses and healthcare professionals while building strong, long-term candidate pipelines. The position blends recruiting expertise with a consultative, relationship-driven approach, requiring both speed and precision in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with internal onboarding teams and hiring stakeholders to ensure seamless candidate placement and compliance with healthcare credentialing standards. This is a highly autonomous role where strategy, execution, and communication all intersect. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for healthcare professionals, ensuring consistent pipeline development, strong candidate engagement, and successful placements aligned with client needs. You will proactively build sourcing strategies, maintain candidate networks, and drive hiring efficiency while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and credentialing requirements.

  • Develop and execute independent recruiting strategies to source, screen, and evaluate healthcare professionals based on client requirements
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through networking, referrals, outreach campaigns, and digital sourcing channels
  • Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications, skills, and fit for specialized healthcare assignments
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and support selection decisions through consultative insights
  • Negotiate compensation packages while maintaining alignment with margin and business objectives
  • Ensure full compliance with credentialing, licensing, and regulatory requirements across candidate files
  • Manage candidate conversion through onboarding coordination and cross-functional collaboration
  • Maintain accurate documentation in ATS platforms and ensure consistent tracking of candidate interactions and progress
  • Meet productivity targets and contribute to ongoing recruitment reporting and performance metrics
  • Support issue resolution and maintain strong candidate relationships throughout the hiring lifecycle
  • Requirements:

    This role requires extensive experience in healthcare recruiting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Candidates should bring a strong understanding of healthcare staffing dynamics, compliance requirements, and sourcing strategies across multiple channels.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
    • Minimum 5+ years of healthcare recruiting experience, preferably supporting hospitals or large healthcare systems
    • Proven ability to build and execute recruitment strategies and manage full-cycle hiring processes
    • Strong understanding of healthcare hiring practices, employment regulations, and credentialing standards
    • Experience working with ATS platforms (iCIMS preferred) and maintaining structured candidate databases
    • Proficiency in sourcing tools including LinkedIn, Indeed, and other digital recruitment channels
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and consultative sales-style recruiting skills
    • Ability to manage multiple requisitions while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a metrics-driven environment
