Payroll Specialist

Job Description

Our Payroll department sees itself as a modern, central support function.

In your role as a Payroll Specialist, you will provide operational support as a competent point of contact for the business units assigned to you in all matters relating to payroll.

You can expect a dynamic, exciting, and demanding area of responsibility in an international environment that offers a wide range of challenges and development opportunities.

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • You proactively and professionally solve challenges in the field of payroll
  • You carry out all payroll activities in collaboration with our payroll provider
  • You answer questions regarding salary, social security, working hours, vacation, maternity leave, parental leave, etc.
  • You review special cases with regard to tax and social security relevance
  • You work closely with our Business Partners / Employee Experience team
  • You are a trustworthy and committed individual and are characterized by a reliable and efficient way of working
  • You independently organize your area of responsibility and maintain an overview even under time pressure
  • Strong teamwork skills and enjoyment in working with people complete your profile
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Several years of professional experience in payroll
  • Good MS Office skills – especially Excel
  • Organizational skills, reliability in time deadlines, ability to work under pressure, assertiveness, and flexibility
  • Knowledge of Workday is an advantage
