The Role

The engineers and product leaders who build Overjet's AI platform are only as strong as the people who find them, and that's the mandate of this role. As a key member of the Talent Team, you will be responsible for running full-cycle technical recruiting across technical departments, spanning every level from early-career to staff and beyond. You'll love this job if you're someone who can assess technical talent with real credibility, operates with total ownership from first sourcing message to signed offer, and has no ego about doing the unglamorous parts of the job yourself. Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and product roles across all levels, from IC to leadership

  • Build and run sourcing strategies that reach the best of overseas technical talent pools

  • Be a strategic consultative partner to technical leaders while hiring in order to define role scope, calibrate technical bars, and run structured interview processes

  • Evaluate technical candidates with enough depth to hold your own in conversations with hiring managers about tradeoffs and fit

  • Drive candidate experience end to end, ensuring every technical candidate, hired or not, walks away respecting Overjet

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a top university in your home country

  • Experience recruiting for technical roles (engineering, product) across both US and overseas markets

  • Ability to work US hours

  • Demonstrated ability to run full-cycle recruiting for roles spanning multiple seniority levels at once, as well as a track record of hiring passive candidates

  • Strong grasp of technical hiring signals well enough to push back on hiring managers when needed

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

  • High ownership, low ego, and a track record of jumping into whatever the moment requires, regardless of title

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environment

  • Fluency using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to sharpen sourcing strategy, screen faster, and evaluate technical candidates more effectively, with a real point of view on where AI helps and where it doesn't

  • Comfort working in an ATS (we use Ashby) and managing a high volume of moving pieces at once. Experience with Juicebox is a plus!
