The Manager, Talent Acquisition Partner will serve as trusted advisor and change leader who challenges assumptions and rethinks what is possible. In this role, you will reshape how we hire, ensuring we utilize best known methods to identify, assess, and secure top-tier talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You will bring proven leadership experience to provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and strategic guidance to a dedicated recruiting team and the continuous modernization of our talent engine.
Responsibilities of the Role
Strategic Talent Transformation
Drive Strategic Sourcing: Shift the organizational approach from reactive, requisition-based hiring to proactive, strategic talent acquisition powered by workforce insights and market intelligence.
Anticipate Business Needs: Interpret market nuances to anticipate shifting business demands, translating them into actionable, location and skills-based operational plans.
Champion Operational Excellence: Infuse operational rigor, process hygiene, and data integrity across the team to ensure a highly disciplined, well-managed recruiting function.
Scale Efficiently: Think critically at scale – designing approaches to optimize hiring efficiency and with velocity without sacrificing quality.
Leverage Next-Gen Tech: Maintain fluency with advanced recruiting technologies and AI tools to optimize, streamline, and reimagine the future of talent acquisition.
Core Recruiting Execution
Partner with business leaders to translate talent strategy into business impact—anticipating workforce needs and developing proactive, multi-channel recruiting strategies aligned to market insights
Manage the full recruiting lifecycle with a focus on client service and operational excellence, ensuring disciplined processes, data integrity, and high-quality hiring outcomes
Build and maintain robust, forward-looking talent pipelines, shifting from reactive hiring to strategic sourcing that supports both immediate and long-term workforce planning
Design and execute comprehensive, scalable search strategies (role specs, sourcing plans, interview frameworks) that optimize speed, efficiency, and quality at scale
Align closely with stakeholders to set expectations, ensure accountability, and drive hiring success while leveraging external partners and market intelligence for competitive advantage
Utilize advanced recruiting technologies, AI tools, and innovative sourcing approaches to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reimagine talent acquisition practices
Requirements of the Role
Proven leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing recruiting teams and leading cross-functional talent initiatives
Demonstrated ability to build trusted, proactive relationships with senior stakeholders and drive consensus across complex organizations
10+ years of end-to-end recruiting experience, including 5+ years supporting investment or financial services talent in fast-paced environments
Deep expertise in sourcing strategies and recruiting dynamics within competitive investment talent markets across disciplines (e.g., portfolio management, research, quantitative/fundamental strategies, risk, portfolio construction)
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent searches while prioritizing effectively in complex, high-demand environments
Strong knowledge of HR practices across the recruiting lifecycle, including compensation and benefits
Learning agility and growth mindset, with the ability to pivot based on evolving business needs and new data while navigating ambiguity and complexity
Tech-enabled mindset with experience leveraging enterprise tools to drive data-driven hiring outcomes
