The Opportunity

As a dedicated Senior Corporate Recruiter, you will primarily support hiring for non-executive Audit roles at USAA, partnering with hiring leaders and key stakeholders to develop recruiting strategies, build diverse talent pipelines, and deliver top talent. You will leverage your sourcing expertise, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills to identify and engage candidates while providing an exceptional hiring experience.

This position will be based in the Charlotte, NC office location or remote in the Charlotte, NC area with weekly business travel to the Charlotte, NC office location at 200 West Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28203.

What you'll do:

  • Identifies and builds community partnerships to generate candidates in alignment with organization's hiring and program objectives.

  • Develops and implements creative sourcing strategies to proactively identify candidates and assemble pipeline of talent for open positions.

  • Performs full life cycle recruiting utilizing various recruitment methods.

  • Advanced technology navigation to include Candidate Relationship Management and AI systems.

  • Coordinates with internal and external partners to establish community networks and relationships in support of our military, diversity and college hiring requirements with minimal guidance.

  • Follows up and follows through on all submitted candidates in a timely manner and ensures that the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) is kept up to date in real time and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Regulatory requirements.

  • Leveraging defined job descriptions, develops compelling job posting descriptions to attract talent and strives to differentiate USAA from our competitors.

  • Keeps candidates continually informed with high-touch communication throughout the entire hiring process.

  • Negotiates advanced total compensation packages per job requisition within approved range, maintaining a fiduciary responsibility to the company.

  • Partners with cross-functional teams in the strategy development and implementation of business hiring solutions.

  • Participates in complex recruiting initiatives and is a strategic partner to identified business lines in development of recruiting plans.

  • Forecasts and manages talent pool size to fulfill workforce plans and hiring objectives.

  • Consults to hiring managers and/or coworkers through the recruiting processes to ensure compliance within external and internal regulatory agencies.

  • Applies and shares, advanced knowledge of recruiting discipline(s), specifically employment law, policies and procedures.

  • Serves as a resource to team members on process and policy questions and issues.

  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.

  • 6 years advanced work experience with full-cycle corporate recruiting.

  • Knowledge of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Demonstrates strong experience in effective screening and interviewing techniques.

  • Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office products and other software to support sourcing tools and techniques.

What sets you apart:

  • Proven success recruiting Risk, Compliance, and/or Internal Audit talent within large financial services organizations.

  • Current or recent hands-on experience using Workday ATS in a full-cycle recruiting environment.

  • Advanced sourcing expertise leveraging multiple platforms, technologies, and research methodologies to build pipelines and deliver top talent for current and future hiring needs.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $108,480.00 - $207,320.00

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

 

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
