Human Resources Labor Consultant (Contract/Temporary)

We are looking for an HR Labor Relations expert to join the HR organization. 

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in collective bargaining for a first contract, ensuring a highly collaborative negotiation process.
  • Interact with union stewards and union reps maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship.
  • Collaborate with the Wizards HR Team, HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Union representations, and Legal teams on any HR processes to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Manage HR processes for employees in the bargaining unit, including preparing communications and readiness initiatives.
  • Advise and update HR policies, programs, and procedures to support new legal and compliance requirements.
  • Build capability within Manager and HR community.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in HR roles with a focus on labor relations and union environments.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and a track record of successful contract negotiations, specifically the ability to negotiate a first contract.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders and partners.
  • Proficiency in HR operational changes and readiness communication.
  • Ability to manage and update HR documentation.
  • A positive, ambitious attitude and a dedication to excellence in all tasks.
  • Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Wizards of the Coast games and culture.

 

Additional Details:

Please note that this is a temporary assignment providing services to Wizards through an external staffing agency. If you are selected for this assignment, you will be employed by Workwell as a W2 employee and will not be an employee of Wizards.

  • Employment Type: Contingent Worker
  • Location: Hybrid out of Renton, WA 
  • Duration: 12 months

Compensation Range, Currency USD:

  • Starting Pay Range: $100/hour
  • Pay Range End: $150/hour

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the hourly pay range for this role.
