HR Generalist, Facilities

Gruns · Pennsylvania

We're so happy you're here! Thank you for checking our job out and we hope to have the chance to meet you in our interview process!

About the role

Grüns is opening a second warehouse facility and we need a sharp, people-first HR Generalist to help us do it right. This role is the on-the-ground HR presence across two facilities: our Pennsylvania site (home base) and our Roanoke, TX location. You'll own the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and payroll to employee relations and recruiting, while building the systems that help both facilities run at a high level as we scale.

You'll support a diverse, fast-moving population of both salaried and hourly employees. You need to be bilingual in English and Spanish, fluent in both the administrative and human sides of HR, and comfortable making judgment calls in real time. You'll bring our values and culture into every interaction at both sites.

This role is part of our HQ people team and sits on-site at our Pennsylvania facility. We come together twice a year for off-sites where the whole team connects IRL.

In this role, you will:

  • Own on-site HR operations across two facilities (Pennsylvania and Roanoke, TX), serving as the primary HR contact for supervisors, hourly employees, and temp staff
  • Lead recruiting for the PA warehouse opening (slated for August 2026) and support ongoing hiring needs at both sites
  • Run full-cycle onboarding: new hire paperwork, E-Verify, HRIS setup, and culture training aligned to the Grüns way of operating
  • Handle payroll processing, compliance posting, and HRIS administration for both facilities
  • Manage first-line employee relations: performance documentation, investigations, escalations, and assistance with terminations
  • Conduct offboarding and exit interviews and maintain tight documentation throughout
  • Build and deliver a quarterly competitive comp analysis to support retention at both sites
  • Travel to Roanoke at least quarterly to maintain presence, trust, and compliance
  • Serve as a trusted communicator for English and Spanish-speaking employees, making sure information and expectations flow clearly between HQ, supervisors, and hourly staff
  • Contribute to Grüns-wide people initiatives as a member of our HQ People team.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with direct experience supporting hourly, warehouse, or manufacturing populations
  • Is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  • Has hands-on experience with the full generalist function: employee relations, performance documentation, payroll, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance
  • Has recruited hourly and supervisory roles and is comfortable owning a high-volume hiring push
  • Is proficient in HR tools including an HRIS, E-Verify, Greenhouse, Indeed, and LinkedIn
  • Has demonstrated the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with care and strong judgment
  • Can build processes from scratch, not just maintain existing ones

Approach to the role:

  • Holds a high bar for talent and process and doesn't let things slide when standards slip
  • Comes to every conversation and every problem with a solution, not just an observation
  • Is equally comfortable giving direct feedback to a frontline employee and partnering with Ops leadership on a complex termination
  • Understands that trust is the foundation of great HR work and earns it by being consistent, fair, and present
  • Has sharp attention to detail, especially on the things that really matter: pay accuracy, documentation, compliance
  • Thrives in ambiguity and is energized by building structure in a fast-moving environment
  • Shows up the same way for every person on the floor, regardless of role or language

To Apply:

Please enter your info and share a bit about yourself with us below. We ask that you do not use Chat GPT or similar tools to answer these questions, as it is our hope to genuinely get to know you and the way you communicate and think! We do love integrating these tools into our work though, and you’ll hear plenty more about that if you join us.

Compensation & Benefits:

At Grüns, we're committed to providing a competitive total compensation package — grounded in market data that considers our size, stage, industry, and location. For this role, the base salary range is $100,000-$120,000 depending on experience, paired with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and growth of our team.

A bit about us...

At Grüns, we believe that foundational nutrition should be simple and convenient for everyone. We're dedicated to bringing comprehensive and real nutrition to you through our gummies, formulated from 60 nutrient-dense and whole-food ingredients. Simply enjoy a grab-and-go snack pack of gummies daily whenever fits best in your schedule and wherever life takes you.

Like you, we were disappointed. There’s an infinite number of “nutrition” companies, all focused on what’s best for them — not what’s best for you. Hundreds of products to sell you on, low-quality ingredients, and small nutrient doses. We’ve seen it all.

So we decided it was time to fix it. No more choking on and popping pills like a pharmacy. No more clean-up and disgust from gross powders. And no more cobbling together handfuls to dozens of supplements. Grüns is comprehensive nutrition, made convenient and delicious.

What we care about...

Be the Best: We hold ourselves, our teams, and our partners to an incredibly high standard - and we raise the bar constantly. "We've never done this before" isn't an excuse here. It's an invitation.

Own It: We act like our name is on the door. That means taking complete ownership of outcomes, collaborating deeply, working through roadblocks - not around them - and never waiting for someone else to solve the problem. Great owners are great partners.

Drive Impact, Urgently: We measure impact, not effort. We work smart and hard, move fast, and use every tool at our disposal - including AI - to focus our energy where it matters most.

Compensation & Perks:

For every role, we aim to have highly competitive compensation and opportunity for impact and career growth.

Everyone at Grüns works hard, but we believe in wellness and balance too. We have super strong benefits coverage -- for you and your family, generous PTO, free Grüns subscriptions, and a few more perks centered around health and well-being that we can't wait to tell you about!
