Sales Training Specialist
The Sales Training Specialist is responsible for the training and development needs of our staff. This role is responsible for the evaluation of trainees and individual employee growth. We are seeking an individual that has a passion for mentoring and teaching others. The Sales Training Specialist must be highly organized, analytical and proficient with a variety of technologies.
You will
Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all systems, tools, processes, and departmental workflows, and effectively adapt training delivery to accommodate diverse learning styles and learner needs.
Facilitate sales training and coaching, including objection handling, sales conversations, role-playing exercises, and performance feedback to support learner success.
Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
Identifies employee knowledge, skills and abilities within sales.
Help foster an environment of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork by increasing team efficiency and enhancing work quality.
Build rapport and establish great working relationships with the training team and leadership teams across the organization.
You have
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities that requires strong project management and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to take information and create presentations using PowerPoint, Google Slides, and similar tools.
Effective communication, writing, and grammar skills.
Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow tasks through to completion. Organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
Ability to prioritize tasks, evaluate impact, and be solutions-oriented with proactive thinking.
Additional details
This position requires a routine schedule to support traditional training hours when assigned to a new hire class. Hours may be flexible if the trainer is not supporting a new hire class. Business needs may dictate a modified schedule from time to time.
This is a salaried role and additional hours may be required outside of the standard training hours to allow for preparation of training materials.
