This role is a high-impact consulting position focused on delivering expert-level Workday Payroll solutions to global clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, translating complex payroll requirements into scalable, efficient system configurations within Workday. The role blends functional consulting, technical configuration, and problem-solving across multiple concurrent client engagements. You will be responsible for optimizing payroll processes, improving system performance, and ensuring clients fully leverage their Workday investment. Working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, you will collaborate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Accountabilities:

  • Lead discovery sessions to translate complex payroll requirements into effective Workday Payroll configurations
  • Design, configure, and optimize Workday Payroll solutions aligned with client business needs
  • Build and maintain calculated fields, reports, dashboards, and payroll analytics to improve visibility and accuracy
  • Identify system inefficiencies and implement enhancements to improve payroll processing and operational performance
  • Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support across multiple client implementations and support engagements
  • Troubleshoot payroll issues, analyze root causes, and deliver sustainable technical solutions
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong prioritization, autonomy, and client-facing communication
  • Share best practices and guide clients through evolving Workday Payroll functionality and updates
  • Requirements:

    • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience (implementation and/or AMS support)
    • Strong functional knowledge of Workday Payroll configuration, processes, and reporting tools
    • Experience building calculated fields, advanced reports, and dashboards within Workday
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset
    • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze complex datasets effectively
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
    • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote consulting environment
    • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify issues and propose solutions
    • Experience working in consulting or multi-client environments is an asset
