Job Description:
TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. At the centre of TD Asset Management’s Retail Distribution engine, the National Office brings together Sales Enablement and Sales Operations to power a sales force of over 100 professionals serving 15,000+ financial advisors across TD and external dealer networks. Through Sales Enablement and Sales Operations best-in-class support, the team drives the delivery of TDAM’s full suite of mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives and managed portfolios, enabling advisors and internal partners across Financial Planning (FP), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and TD Canada Trust (TDCT) to accelerate asset growth and deepen engagement.
Reporting to the AVP, Retail Distribution National Office, Sales Enablement TDAM, this is a people leadership role that drives execution through established teams, ensures alignment across priorities, and delivers the infrastructure required to support field performance at scale.
Mandate
Own the operating backbone that enables Retail Distribution to execute at scale.
Responsible for process, sales tools, policy, and pan-channel programs that drive consistent, compliant, and scalable execution across all channels.
Accountabilities
Sales Enablement Operating Model
- Own end-to-end enablement planning and delivery
- Ensure coordinated delivery across launches, changes, and priorities
Policy & Governance
- Own sales practices, policy framework, and governance
- Ensure clear standards, consistency, and strong adherence in market
Process & Operational Execution
- Own BAU process design, implementation, and sustainment
- Standardize ways of working across channels
- Drive efficiency and consistency in execution
- Leverage Work Enablement in Action for ongoing optimization
Content Deployment & Access
- Own deployment across Seismic, Intranet, SharePoint
- Ensure timely publication, proper tagging, and ease of access
- Deliver a consistent field experience
Training & Pan-Channel Programs
- Own training, onboarding, and pan-channel programs
- Translate business needs into scalable solutions that drive adoption and capability
Product Process Delivery (Sales Enablement)
- Own delivery for product-related enablement (launches, changes, closures)
- Accountable for planning, scheduling, coordination, and task assignment across teams
Qualifications
- Proven track record of people leadership, with a relentless focus on talent development and creating a positive, productive work environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute through teams in a complex, multi-channel distribution environment
- Strong experience in sales operations, enablement, or National Offices
- Deep understanding of sales tools, processes, and operating models
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable programs, processes, and solutions
- Strong organizational and execution discipline (planning, prioritization, delivery)
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment (Product, Marketing, Compliance, Distribution)
- Focus on continuous improvement, leveraging field feedback and data to optimize outcomes
