Job Description:

TD Asset Management (TDAM), a member of TD Bank Financial Group, is a leading North American investment manager offering progressive investment solutions to both institutional and individual investors. For over two decades, the organization has established competitive market positions in active, quantitative, and passive portfolio management.  As of December 31, 2025, TDAM and its affiliates manage over $508 billion  in assets on behalf of pension, insurance, endowment/foundation, and corporate clients, as well as high-net worth clients and retail mutual funds.

In attaining this client commitment, TDAM has built one of Canada’s largest and most respected investment management and research teams with more than 220 Portfolio Managers, Associate Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts.

Role Overview

The Product Associate, Public Equities Product Management supports the management of TD Asset Management's public equity product platform across all investment vehicle types.

Reporting to the Lead of Public Equities Product Management, this role is responsible for supporting product monitoring, competitive analysis, documentation management, governance processes, and stakeholder coordination. The Product Associate plays a key role in ensuring product information remains accurate, current, and readily available to support decision-making across the product management function.


The role works closely with Product Managers, Investments, Client Portfolio Management (CPM), Distribution, Product and Marketing Intelligence, Legal, Compliance, and Disclosure teams.

Key Accountabilities

1. Product Data & Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor product metrics including AUM, net flows, fees, benchmark performance, and competitive rankings
  • Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, and management summaries
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of product data and reporting tools
  • Support product reviews through data gathering and analysis

2. Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct competitor research and market monitoring
  • Track industry trends and new product launches
  • Maintain competitive databases and reference materials
  • Assist in preparing market and competitive analysis
  • Support benchmarking exercises across product categories

3. Product Documentation & Content Management

  • Assist in maintaining product-related documentation and records
  • Coordinate updates with Disclosure, Legal, and Compliance teams
  • Support maintenance of product profiles, positioning materials, and governance records
  • Ensure product information remains current and consistent across platforms

4. Stakeholder Support & Coordination

  • Prepare materials for meetings, governance forums, and product reviews
  • Support internal requests and information gathering
  • Coordinate follow-ups across stakeholder groups
  • Facilitate communication between product management and partner teams
  • Assist in responding to sales and distribution inquiries

5. Governance & Process Support

  • Support product governance and review processes
  • Maintain action logs and track deliverables
  • Assist with approval workflows and documentation requirements
  • Support implementation activities related to product changes and launches
  • Ensure adherence to established processes and controls

6. Product Development Support

  • Assist with research and analysis supporting product enhancement initiatives
  • Compile data and supporting materials for business cases
  • Support implementation activities for new product launches
  • Coordinate information requests during development projects

Qualifications & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Commerce, or related field
  • 1-4 years of experience in asset management, product management, investments, capital markets, or financial services
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis/reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, analyze, and communicate information effectively
  • Working knowledge of investment products, capital markets, and portfolio management concepts is an asset
  • Demonstrated proficiency leveraging AI-enabled productivity and research tools to improve analysis, reporting, content development, and workflow efficiency
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and other generative AI tools, with the ability to apply them appropriately within a regulated business environment
  • Progress toward or completion of a professional designation (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is considered an asset
