Job Description:
Summary
Trade Support is part of the Fixed Income Middle Office, providing critical support across the trade lifecycle for fixed income products. The team ensures trades are accurately captured, processed, and reflected in front office systems in a timely and controlled manner.
Partnering closely with Trading and Sales, as well as key stakeholders across Operations, Technology, and Compliance, the team supports global markets activity across major financial hubs including Singapore, London, Dublin, Toronto, and New York. Core responsibilities include trade capture, position management, risk monitoring, business reporting, and client analytics.
As part of Middle Office, the team plays a key role in maintaining strong risk and control frameworks, supporting front office execution, and driving continuous improvements to processes and systems to enhance efficiency and meet evolving regulatory requirements.
The Fixed Income Middle Office Associate is responsible for providing day-to-day trade support across fixed income products, ensuring trades are accurately captured, risks are monitored, and operational issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Working closely with Trading, Sales, and key support functions, the role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to independently investigate issues, and effective stakeholder engagement across global teams.
Job Role/Responsibilities
- Support trading and sales desks with accurate and timely trade capture across multiple systems
- Ensure all trades are correctly recorded and reflected in front office platforms
- Monitor trade flows and assist in resolving STP (Straight‑Through Processing) issues
- Investigate trade discrepancies, risk exposures, and P&L breaks
- Respond to ad‑hoc trade queries and client-related inquiries
- Perform data analysis and deliver insights to stakeholders
- Generate client analytics and business reporting for trading and sales desks
- Monitor business risk to ensure adherence to policy and risk limits
- Collaborate with Technology, Operations, Compliance, and global stakeholders to resolve issues
- Support regulatory and audit requirements, ensuring timely remediation of findings
- Participate in and drive process improvement, automation, and infrastructure initiatives
- Escalate key risks and issues to management in a timely manner

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Fixed Income
- Strong understanding of fixed income products and trade lifecycle
- Strong Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliation, reporting)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with front office and support teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with systems such as Calypso, Murex, Markitwire, or Bloomberg
- Exposure to P&L and risk monitoring processes
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting financial markets
