Accountabilities
- Conduct detailed company profiling and business analysis by collecting, reviewing, and interpreting financial, operational, and market information.
- Prepare comprehensive overviews of businesses, industries, ownership structures, competitive landscapes, and M&A transaction histories.
- Analyze potential platform and add-on acquisition opportunities and contribute insights that support investment decision-making processes.
- Support ongoing research projects focused on niche sectors, emerging trends, and market developments across private markets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality intelligence and investment-related insights for clients.
- Assist with project management activities and contribute to operational and platform improvement initiatives.
- Leverage technology and data-driven tools to enhance research quality, efficiency, and analytical output.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and professionalism across all deliverables.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's degree or in the third year of a Bachelor's program in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative discipline.
- Minimum of six months of prior experience in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, transaction services, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with consistently excellent performance from a reputable university.
- Demonstrated interest in finance, investing, private markets, and business analysis.
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess business performance.
- Strong research capabilities and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Additional language skills such as Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, or other relevant European languages are considered an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Availability to work full-time for a minimum period of six months.
