What’s it all about?
This Analyst role is part of the MMS Treasury team, which is the function responsible for providing liquidity management, risk analysis of trading partners, FX risk mitigation and conversion services to the overall Visa Direct business. The team is part of the broader Global Treasury Team. The role will report to the Director, MMS Europe Treasury (and a dotted line into Bank Account Manager in Bangalore) and will act to implement treasury procedures, daily foreign exchange conversions, liquidity strategies and ongoing analysis to increase efficiencies as outlined by the Treasury team.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade & Liquidity Operations Execution
Execute and maintain system postings for FX trades, liquidity movements, and collateral activity, ensuring accurate and timely reflection of funding, positioning, and trading activity across platforms.
Reconciliation & Position Management
Partner with reconciliation teams to investigate and resolve breaks, while tracking FX position movements, restricted balances, and collateral postings to maintain a clear and accurate view of exposures and balances.
Control, Validation & Governance
Perform post-execution validation checks, support audit and control testing through evidence gathering, and ensure all activities align with internal policies and a robust control environment.
FX Trade Lifecycle Support
Support the end-to-end FX trade lifecycle including confirmations, system rate maintenance, trade benchmarking, and execution analysis to ensure accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement in trading outcomes.
Client & System Configuration Management
Maintain and update client configurations, trading limits, and key static data, ensuring systems are accurately aligned to client requirements and risk parameters.
Reporting & Performance Insight
Produce daily FX revenue reporting, end-of-day summaries, and operational tracking to provide visibility on performance, activity, and key risk indicators.
Documentation & Process Ownership
Maintain high-quality on-desk documentation and support continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Undergraduate degree or Treasury, Investment Management or another Finance-related professionally recognized accreditation.
Experience in process improvement and automation design, particularly using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Power Automate).
Prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced treasury or payments environment.
Strong adaptability and ability to respond quickly to shifting priorities
Work experience in treasury operations, cash management, or ability to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of finance or mathematics.
Expert working knowledge of MS Excel.
Demonstrated understanding of foreign exchange rates and calculations.
Strong numerical and analytical skills, preferably gained within a finance discipline.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and see through to resolution.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Demonstrated willingness to learn and continuously self-develop.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
Experience contributing to operational efficiency improvements or workflow optimization initiatives.
