Job Description
SMBs are a critical engine of growth across Latin America and the Caribbean, and a strategic lever for Visa’s Issuers, from established players to disruptors. As SMBs digitize and demand modern working capital, expense management, and acceptance solutions, Visa is the market leader in SMB payments and uniquely positioned to unlock outsized value for our clients and partners.
This role is mission critical to capture that opportunity. The Sr. manager will drive sales excellence for the region by equipping cluster and country sales teams (both small business solution specialists and sales generalists) with strategies, narratives, and enablement materials that win business and present a holistic, One Visa story to clients.
You will be the engine behind a cohesive, insight led, and locally relevant go to market motion, connecting Visa Commercial Solutions, Benefits & Rewards, Money Movement (Visa Direct, Cross Border Solutions), Value Added Services and CyberSource into a single, compelling proposition that resonates with issuers, enablers, acquirers, FinTech's, and SMBs.
About the team: The LAC SMB VCS team oversees and drives Visa’s small business strategy, leads SMB thought leadership, manages segment key drivers and P&L, and supports the development and execution of the LAC sales pipeline. The team is cross functional and multidisciplinary by design, partnering across regional and in market stakeholders to scale outcomes.
As the Sr. manager leading sales enablement & go-to market, you will:
Drive SMB sales enablement excellence by building and maintaining a high‑quality catalog of seller assets, including core narratives, playbooks (Sales Plays), training, sales campaigns, and issuer‑ready materials, as well as ensuring their adoption through a unified LAC repository.
Craft and communicate a cohesive “One Visa” SMB value proposition that integrates Visa Commercial Solutions, Benefits & Rewards, Money Movement, VAS, and CyberSource into clear issuer economics and compelling SMB use cases.
Localize value propositions by translating market insights into country‑specific messaging that aligns Visa’s existing solutions, benefits, and rewards with in‑market SMB behaviors (voice of the client), issuer needs, and competitive dynamics.
Establish and manage an annual enablement calendar that sequences training sessions, sales material releases, and strategic updates for SMB specialists and generalist sellers, ensuring consistent readiness and alignment across clusters and countries.
Enable cross‑functional alignment by working closely with B2B Marketing, Product, Research & Insights, Marketing Services, and regional/global stakeholders to ensure cohesive go‑to‑market execution and consistent narrative delivery.
Act as a subject‑matter expert on Visa Commercial Solutions, Benefits and Rewards and the SMB ecosystem, supporting client segmentation, solutioning, and the mapping of product capabilities to SMB pain points and issuer growth levers.
Accelerate deal cycles and strengthen the pipeline by partnering with cluster and country leads on business development activities, conducting pipeline reviews, identifying bottlenecks, and providing issuer‑specific recommendations.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

5+ years’ experience in sales and/or product leadership within a financial institution, financial technology or related company targeting SMBs.
Seasoned leader with extensive industry and functional expertise, including sales, business development, contract negotiations, marketing, and sales.
Proven success with sales, consultative selling, and management experience.
SMB segment experience essential
Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives and operational decisions across matrixed organizations. Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks.
Ability to build strong relationships and enable collaboration with large cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally to Visa.
Lead as a Visa Ambassador for SMB. Represent all things SMB at Visa. Challenge preconceived attitudes and behaviours and shape future thinking.
Consistent record of having met challenging financial and business targets.
Proven track record of driving innovation and leading change in successful top tier companies

The estimated salary range for this position is $143.700,00 to $ 230.200,00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
