Job Description:

Legal Intern LATAM
São Paulo Brazil

About the role
As a Legal Intern you will support the LATAM Legal function in delivering efficient high quality legal support across the region. You will contribute to contract lifecycle management day to day legal operations and continuous improvement initiatives enabling the team to focus on strategic priorities.

What you will do

  • Support contract lifecycle management including organisation tracking and follow up of agreements
  • Prepare first drafts of contracts and amendments using Ipsen templates
  • Assist in the review of standardised agreements under supervision
  • Monitor contractual deadlines milestones and obligations
  • Support document execution including signature coordination and archiving in tools such as Ariba
  • Support responses to internal legal requests including triage follow up and documentation
  • Prepare legal summaries presentations and internal guidance materials
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders across LATAM and support liaison with external counsel
  • Maintain legal databases trackers and documentation
  • Contribute to improving templates playbooks and legal processes
  • Support knowledge sharing initiatives across the Legal team

Who you are

  • Law student ideally from third year onwards
  • Previous internship experience in legal compliance or corporate environment is a plus
  • Fluent Portuguese with advanced English required for regional and global interactions
  • Spanish is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • High integrity and respect for confidentiality
