About the Role

We're looking for a U.S.-based Senior Legal Operations Manager to scale and optimize how the Veeam Legal team operates. You'll serve as a strategic partner to Legal leadership — owning the operational foundation across intake, contracting workflows, reporting, and technology. This role is hands-on in driving process improvement, system governance, and stakeholder experience, while also serving as the primary administrator for our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform and Legal matter management system.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Legal leadership to define and execute the Legal Operations roadmap, leading cross-functional projects end-to-end from requirements gathering through adoption and outcomes
  • Own CLM platform administration, including workflow configuration, template and clause library governance, user access, and integrations with intake tools, e-signature, and CRM systems
  • Administer the Legal matter management system, including intake and triage configuration, matter lifecycle tracking, outside counsel collaboration, e-billing, and spend tracking
  • Define, maintain, and improve dashboards and KPIs — request volume, cycle time, SLA adherence, and exception rates — and translate data into actionable recommendations for Legal leadership
  • Build and maintain centralized knowledge resources including process documentation, playbooks, and self-service guidance, and deliver training for Legal and business stakeholders
  • Support Legal budget planning, outside counsel onboarding, and vendor operations in partnership with Legal leadership and Finance
  • Develop and manage communications with external third parties, the Legal team, and the broader Veeam organization

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Legal Operations, contract operations, or business operations in a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience administering and improving a CLM platform, including workflow ownership, configuration, reporting, and user enablement
  • Proven ability to drive process improvement and operational scaling in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to translate metrics into operational improvements and stakeholder-ready insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; J.D. not required

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with matter management systems and outside counsel management platforms
  • Familiarity with e-billing platforms and legal spend management workflows
  • Experience implementing self-service legal tooling or knowledge management systems

What you'll get

  • Unlimited paid time off, 12 paid holidays including 4 global VeeaMe Days for self-care and 24 paid volunteer hours annually through Veeam Cares
  • Paid parental leave: 8 weeks for all parents, 16 weeks for birthing parents
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on your first day
  • Mental health support, therapy sessions, and digital wellness tools via our Employee Assistance Program
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
  • Fertility, adoption, and surrogacy support through Maven, plus paid volunteer time
  • AirVet: 24/7 virtual veterinary care at no cost
  • Legal services, identity protection, and supplemental health insurance options
  • Tax-advantaged spending accounts for healthcare, dependent care, and commuting
  • Opportunities to learn and grow through on-demand libraries (LinkedIn Learning, O’Reilly), mentoring, workshops, and learning events like our annual Global Day of Learning
