Marketing Manager

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

 

Our client is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the strategic growth and execution of marketing initiatives for a growing e-commerce business. This leadership role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across email marketing, paid advertising, conversion rate optimization (CRO), analytics, creative oversight, and team management. They are looking for a results-driven marketing leader who can build and develop a high-performing team while driving measurable revenue growth and brand awareness.

Role Overview

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy while leading cross-functional marketing initiatives across email marketing, paid media, conversion rate optimization, analytics, and creative production. The Marketing Manager will partner closely with the CEO to build and manage the marketing team, optimize customer acquisition efforts, improve marketing performance, and ensure all campaigns align with business growth objectives. This role is ideal for an experienced e-commerce marketing professional who enjoys balancing strategy, execution, leadership, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business and revenue goals.

  • Identify growth opportunities across email marketing, paid advertising, social media, and website optimization.

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor strategies.

  • Develop initiatives that support customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Partner with the CEO to hire, onboard, and develop the marketing team.

  • Establish team goals and monitor performance.

  • Mentor team members and support professional development.

  • Manage marketing workflows and ensure projects are completed on schedule.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing marketing environment.

Email Marketing & CRM

  • Lead the strategy and execution of email marketing campaigns.

  • Manage lifecycle marketing and marketing automation initiatives.

  • Optimize audience segmentation, messaging, and campaign performance.

  • Ensure email marketing supports the broader marketing strategy.

Paid Advertising & Conversion Optimization

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and programmatic advertising channels.

  • Develop and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.

  • Optimize landing pages, product pages, and checkout experiences.

  • Conduct A/B testing to maximize campaign performance and return on investment.

Creative & Brand Management

  • Oversee the development of marketing graphics, videos, and creative assets.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.

  • Collaborate with internal designers and external creative partners.

  • Maintain high creative quality across campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor marketing performance across all digital channels.

  • Develop dashboards and performance reporting.

  • Analyze campaign performance, ROI, engagement, and conversion metrics.

  • Present actionable recommendations to leadership.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous optimization.

Qualifications Experience

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within e-commerce.

  • Experience managing marketing teams and cross-functional projects.

  • Experience leading email marketing, paid advertising, and conversion optimization initiatives.

  • Experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies.

  • Experience managing marketing performance reporting and analytics.

  • Experience collaborating with creative teams and external agencies.

Qualifications Skills

  • Strong knowledge of email marketing platforms.

  • Experience with HubSpot.

  • Experience with Klaviyo.

  • Experience with Google Ads.

  • Experience with Meta Ads.

  • Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

  • Experience with Canva.

  • Experience with Figma.

  • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO).

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
