Job Summary

As a Corporate Communications Executive Director, you will lead communications efforts around key strategic priorities, including cross-company initiatives that support Comcast’s brand, reputation, and business objectives. This role is responsible for developing and driving cross-functional communications strategies that align senior leadership, engage key stakeholders, and deliver measurable impact across the organization. The Executive Director serves as a trusted communications partner to our organization’s senior executives and must have an exceptional writing ability and executive presence.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Owns and leads the development and execution of comprehensive, enterprise-level communications strategies that support Comcast’s priorities, brand, reputation, and long-term business objectives.
  • Acts as a trusted communications partner to senior executives, overseeing the development of executive speeches, talking points, FAQs, internal communications and events.
  • Helps translate business strategies into compelling, cohesive narratives that resonate with internal and external audiences, including employees, media, partners, and investors.
  • Ensures alignment and consistency of messaging across channels and platforms, while tailoring content for specific audiences, leaders, and moments.
  • Establishes operating rhythms, managing interdependencies across teams, and ensuring work is prioritized, sequenced, and delivered with precision in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion on sensitive issues, reputational matters, and high-stakes communications, anticipating risks and guiding leadership through critical moments.
  • Leads and develops a high-performing communications team, setting clear priorities, expectations, and accountability while fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Drives cross-functional alignment, partnering with leaders across corporate functions and business units to ensure communications strategies are integrated, proactive, and effective.
  • Represents Comcast with executive presence and credibility in internal and external settings.
  • Maintains flexibility to support business needs, including nights, weekends, and variable schedules as required.
