Product Marketing Manager, Brand and Reputation
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
As a Product Marketing Manager (L4) for Brand and Reputation in India, you will be a key driver in shaping how Google’s brand and impact are perceived in India. You are expected to make broad contributions to our marketing ecosystem with minimal oversight, taking ownership of complex projects from ideation to execution.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in marketing working across one or more marketing fields (i.e. growth, product marketing, brand marketing, social).
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in brand marketing, product marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in data analysis and translating complex data sets into actionable marketing insights, with proficiency in storytelling and a track record of managing end-to-end GTM strategies.
- Experience working within the Indian market, with understanding of its cultural, social, and regulatory dynamics.
- Deep understanding of the current AI landscape and experience leveraging generative AI tools to improve marketing productivity and creative processes.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical and AI concepts into compelling, simplified consumer narratives that drive brand affinity.
