DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Marketing Communication Specialist , located in Taipei, Taiwan.
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Product Marketing Executive to manage a segment of the orthopedic medical devices portfolio in Taiwan. This is a hands-on role focused on executing product marketing plans, enabling the sales and clinical teams, and coordinating launches and lifecycle activities under the guidance of Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate combines strong project coordination and analytical skills with a passion for improving patient outcomes and supporting healthcare professionals. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Clinical, Regulatory/Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Product marketing execution
- Support the development and execution of product launch and growth plans for assigned orthopedic product lines including timelines, channel tactics, and KPIs.
- Localize and adapt global product messaging, positioning, and claims for Taiwan, ensuring clinical accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Prepare and maintain product collateral (brochures, one-pagers, selling decks, clinical evidence summaries, FAQs) for HCP use only; secure required internal approvals prior to use.
- Assist with SKU lifecycle tasks (new item setup, phase-in/out, labeling inputs, portfolio management).
Market intelligence and analytics
- Gather and synthesize market insights: customer feedback, competitor activities, pricing benchmarks, tender dynamics, and share trends.
- Track product performance and campaign KPIs; prepare regular dashboards and recommendations.
- Support segmentation, targeting, and opportunity sizing for key institutions and procedures.
Launches, events, and HCP engagement
Coordinate symposiums, workshops, cadaver labs, and conference activities: speaker briefings, invitations, materials, booth assets, and post-event follow-up
- Assist with KOL engagement logistics and preparation
Operations and demand support
- Partner with Supply Chain on demand inputs, forecasting support, safety stock considerations
- Provide inputs for pricing analysis; maintain price lists and product catalogs.
Sales enablement and training
- Create and maintain sales toolkits: product decks, objection handling guides, competitor battlecards, procedure workflows
- Coordinate internal product trainings, demos, e-learnings
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience and Skills
Required:
2-3 years of relevant experience in product marketing, marketing, or commercial operations; strong internships or project experience in healthcare/medical devices needed.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with Excel/Sheets (pivot tables, lookups) and PowerPoint/Slides.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical/clinical inputs into clear, compliant product messaging for HCPs.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple timelines with cross-functional stakeholders.
Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken); professional working proficiency in English.
Preferred:
Exposure to hospitals/OR settings, orthopedic procedures, or medical device commercial processes.
Experience supporting events, KOL programs, or professional education initiatives.
Basic design/video tools (PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Express or similar) and familiarity with CRM/enablement tools; Power BI or similar analytics tools a plus.
Other:
Travel: Frequent travel within Taiwan for hospital visits, trainings, and events.
